Partner Success Criteria
A strategic alliance is a partnership that has the potential to contribute
significantly and in multiple ways to the customer's, the strategic partner's
and Harmonix Technologies' bottom line. Partnering and strategic alliances
help us focus on our core strengths—the sale, design and project
management of multi-service network solutions. Harmonix carefully chooses
our strategic partners based upon: ethics, technical competency, geography,
and customer satisfaction ratings. Beyond that, we look for partners who
can operate within our five partnering success criteria denoted below:
- A partnership can not be faked. Each party must genuinely be prepared
to treat each other’s concerns as of equal importance, or a lasting
partnership can not be sustained.
- Compromise is a requirement of successful partnering. Each must make
sure that the financial rewards are distributed in such a way that each
partner’s profit goals are achieved.
- Partnerships require flexibility. The main benefit of partnering
is that allows the mobilization of each company’s talents in an
exercise that benefits all stakeholders. This allows each partner to
reach more customers with a greater breadth of solutions.
- Openness is a requirement of successful partnering. Each partner must
share information in enough detail to allow every partner to make decisions
and manage to everyone’s mutual benefit. The sharing of information
is critical to the development of real trust. Partners can not be kept
in the dark.
- Above all, a partnership demands fairness. Everyone must benefit from
a partnership or it becomes manipulation and the partnership will collapse.
