After a comprehensive examination of high performing organizations,
one thing is evident—the role of information technology has never
been more vital. In the information age of today organizations must move
quicker and provide information back to customers easily and timely. What
does it take to achieve high performance?
Harmonix has identified five of the fundamentals required in a high performing
IT organization. Infrastructure standardization optimizes and secures
the technology backbone. Integration provides the bridge between applications
and technologies. Information, when harnessed, arms an organization for
better decision-making. The principles of Industrialization standardize
IT work processes, creating new efficiencies and increasing performance
outcomes and technology Innovation fuels new growth.
We develop our solutions utilizing our 5D
solution development methodology. This process rolls out as follows:
First we Discover and map the existing infrastructure,
this includes site surveys and Visio drawing of what the existing client
environment consists of. Second, we Decipher what elements
we can carry forward into the new multiservice network environment. Thirdly,
we Design and new infrastructure carrying forward as
much of the existing infrastructure as possible; and then augmenting the
network with new elements and technologies where necessary. Fourthly,
we Deliver or implement the solution. This entails the
development of a project plan complete with Gantt Charts, scopes of work,
timelines, roles and responsibilities, and team structure development.
Finally, we work to Defend the solution with maintenance
and managed services offerings designed to support our clients in the
future.
